Need Help from a Vintage Collector or Vintage Seller

I'm usually very good at finding anything, but can't find this. There are no markings on it. The ceramic or porcelain pieces do not move, they are attached to the wood. The closest thing I found similar was a Sears Roebuck cardboard diecut (on Etsy), but this is neither diecut nor cardboard, but very similar is design with the 5 pieces and minimal look.
Can anyone tell me who made these? Or how much I could sell it for?

Sorry I can't be of any help. :( Good Luck with finding an answer!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer. I think I'm going to need it.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty.
ReplyDeleteSorry I can't be any help. Good luck!
Okay, I have the same exact Mary figurine, but not as part of the nativity. Is it possible someone glued them into the creche? I'll dig out my Mary and look for marks on the bottom.
ReplyDeleteOh, never thought of that. I'll have to find out myself. I'm going to go see my grandma this afternoon and I'll ask her. She may not remember. That might explain why I can't find any markings. Thank you so much for your help. I'll keep you posted on what I find out.
ReplyDeleteGood luck. Sounds like Cristy may have provided a good clue. Cheers, Marian
ReplyDeleteYea. Thanks. My grandma was sleeping when I went by, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to ask her. Maybe she glued them. She's awesome at gluing things back together. My mom said it's always been around.
